Downspout Elbows
In the gutter industry elbows are referenced by size, style and degree of angle.
Example: Size-- 2x3 size are a 2" by 3" rectangle downspout.
                Style-- A or B (See Pictures below right)
                Degree-- This has to with the degree of bend to the elbow varying from 30-90
                               degree bends. All elbows offered at Home Improvement Centers
                                are of the Standard type (75 degree bend).

This Outlet Elbow (3x4 "A" & "B's) gives you that large throat to the downspout needed to keep debris from plugging the outlet. It attaches to the front bottom edge of the gutter, placing the fasteners up and over the hole, which leaves the bottom of the gutter smooth and clean with no fasteners for debris to hang up on. Its completely self sealing. ( No drop outlet to buy and no sealant needed.) Increases gutters water drain capacity by 40% when comparing a 3x4 oval drop outlets actual opening (6.2 sq in) to the Outlet elbows 10.2 sq in opening. Asset to any leaf guard installation!!!
